After the death of Kazuya, Heihachi Mishima having regained control of the MFE. He forms "Tekken Force",group of special elites charged to restore peace in the world. But,one day,a communiqué was sent to Heihachi. The report brought the ominous news that his "Tekken Force"had been completely destroyed after encountering a mysterious being called "Ogre". Toshin, God of fighting, absorbs souls of strong fighters for mysterious reasons. Then,martial arts masters from around the world began disappering. Jin Kazama was the son of Kazuya Mishima and Jun Kazama. He was 15 years old when his mother had been attacked by Ogre and had vanished. Before disappearing Jun advised her son to go to see his grandfather who recognized in his fighting style the same demoniacal capacity as at Kazuya. Heihachi decided attracting Ogre while announcing The King of Iron Fist Tournament 3 with Jin as a lure.

Here third Tekken and this game is always also devastator. Tekken remains the Master in the fighting games. Better than the second, Tekken 3 becomes the reference of the fighting games with 20 characters including 11 new fighters, finer textures, more detailed decorations, a faster rhythm of play by keeping the same gameplay with a lot of improvement,a splendid introduction and superbs endings. Tekken 3 is also the Tekken having more converted the players with the fury of Namco.
